David first came to CIC as a workshop participant in Spring 2014 as the president and partner of The Post Institute, a leading publisher of love based, family centered, parent training material for foster, adopted, and diagnosed children. David has since continued his involvement with CIC and has recently finished his first class as a Workgroup Leader for CIC’s first Fluvanna Louisa WIBO Workshop. In addition to being a Workgroup Leader, David has also served on the Alumni Advisory Board, volunteered by presenting at Piedmont Virginia Community College’s Tibetan Entrepreneurship class, and has served on panels at the Annual Chamber Minority Business Conference.
Please tell us your favorite thing about volunteering at CIC.
I love learning new things wherever the opportunity arises. CIC was onf rhose opportunities that I pursued. I was inspired by my classmates who were incredibly diverse yet all shared the burning desire to create and do something.
