CIC Celebrates 13 Years of Empowering Small Business Growth

The Community Investment Collaborative (CIC) is proud to share our 2024 Annual Report, showcasing another year of meaningful impact across Central and Southern Virginia. Over 13 years, CIC has deployed more than $5 million in capital and guided 600 entrepreneurs through our programs. In 2024 alone, we provided $1.05 million in loans to 31 borrowers, supported 241 businesses, and helped create 47 full-time jobs. Our report features inspiring stories from entrepreneurs like Daryl Rivera’s food trailer success and Nicole Hawker’s fitness nonprofit, demonstrating how accessible capital and business support can transform dreams into thriving enterprises. With goals to lend another $6 million and serve 2,500 entrepreneurs over the next three years, CIC remains committed to building pathways to prosperity for all.
