Natalie Hodge Davis is a committed advocate for expanding access to capital and economic opportunity across Southern Virginia. She is the founder of Rudy’s Girl Media and the winner of the 2022 Gauntlet Business Pitch Competition, where her vision to launch a media production studio in Uptown Martinsville was awarded a Department of Housing and Community Development Community Business Launch (CBL) grant. Natalie was the first Southern Virginia entrepreneur to receive a microloan from the Community Investment Collaborative, an experience that deepened her dedication to equitable financing for small business owners.
Natalie serves as Community Market Lead for Southern Virginia with Locus, a Community Development Financial Institution focused on unlocking capital and partnerships in places where traditional financing falls short. She is a member of numerous boards and advisory committees including RISE Collaborative, Women Impact Virginia, the Martinsville-Henry County YMCA and was the inaugural Vice President of the Martinsville–Henry County Minority Business Consortium. She dedicates a significant amount of time to strengthening regional networks and opportunities for underrepresented entrepreneurs. Through advocacy, storytelling and ecosystem building, she continues to support founders as they turn ideas into thriving, sustainable businesses.
