Our Southern Virginia Resource Fair provides opportunity for free consultations with business professionals and service providers.

CIC Resource Fairs offer local entrepreneurs and small business owners free, individual consultations in areas such as accounting, social media, marketing, website design, human resources, and more. It’s a unique opportunity to work with industry experts to expand your knowledge and skills!

We want to make sure every entrepreneur who wants a consultation gets one, so please be intentional to only register for sessions you can physically attend.  If plans change, email Sarah Gibbons, sarah@cicville.org, and we will open that spot back up for another small business owner.

*Finance Your Business (FYB) is a structured, educational series designed to help entrepreneurs build strong, financially sound businesses.  Each session walks participants through a core element lenders, investors, and advisors look for before capital conversations begin.  We’re not teaching you to chase funding, but guiding you in building a healthy and sustainable business that is prepared for growth.

By joining, you will learn how to:
• Clarify and validate your business model
• Understand cash flow, break-even, and key financial statements
• Improve capital readiness and financial decision-making
• Build confidence in presenting your numbers

FYB will take place from 6PM – 7PM, immediately following the 1:1 sessions, and will be a collaborative, workshop-styled, group presentation.  Participating gives you practical next steps to move forward with clarity and confidence.
