Priscilla Akpalu serves as one of CIC’s Entrepreneur Impact Managers, supporting small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs across Culpeper, Orange, and surrounding counties through education, coaching, and resource connection. She helps deliver CIC’s Entrepreneur Workshop and Financial Management Program, equipping entrepreneurs with the tools to launch, grow, and sustain their businesses.

Born in Ghana and raised in the Fredericksburg area, Priscilla developed a deep understanding of entrepreneurship through firsthand experience working alongside her mother in her hair salon and clothing store. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Virginia State University and a Master of Public Policy from the University of Virginia, where she focused on coalition building and entrepreneurial ecosystems. Priscilla is committed to expanding equitable access to entrepreneurship through practical, community-centered solutions.
