Melody Bianchetto
Melody Bianchetto, a Certified Public Accountant, has over 35 years of experience in financial management and retired in 2023 as the University of Virginia’s Vice President for Finance and Chief Financial Officer. Melody now spends her time supporting local entrepreneurs and nonprofit organizations. With CIC, she is a board member, an instructor in the Entrepreneur Workshop, and a coach in the Financial Management Program (FMP). Melody also serves on the boards of SARA, The Haven, and Madison House. In addition, Melody is an independent director of the T. Rowe Price Mutual Funds.
Melody earned a Bachelor of Science in Commerce from the University of Virginia and a Master of Business Administration from James Madison University. She lives in Charlottesville with her husband, Dennis, and they have two adult daughters. Her hobbies include traveling, exploring local trails with her dog, reading, cooking, and cheering for UVA sports.
