Interim Operations Coordinator

Ann Ray serves as our Interim Operations Coordinator while Sarah Gibbons is away on family leave. As a former small business owner, Ann understands the challenges and joys of entrepreneurial life and is thrilled to support local entrepreneurs achieve their goals.

Ann’s career path has taken her from staff recruiting and politics in Washington, DC to dog training in Atlanta, GA and Memphis, TN. After moving to C’ville, she joined a communications marketing agency as editorial director, where she spent over a decade. Most recently, she co-owned a retail consignment shop, managing business systems and marketing outreach.

She lives in Charlottesville with her husband Chuck and their happy hounddog Rosie. Ann earned a BA in Communications Journalism at the University of Louisiana (Monroe).
