Carolina Medina

Chief Lending Officer

Carolina began with CIC as its Operations Coordinator, later serving as its Director of Lending & Operations.  She now serves as our Chief Lending Officer and leads our expanded lending initiatives and capital access strategies.

Carolina has a passion for small businesses and enjoys working with our community of entrepreneurs as they launch and grow their businesses.  She supports and actively engages in the work of Virginia Community Development Finance Institutions (CDFIs) and hopes to leverage her experience and expertise to help more business owners maintain financial stability and accomplish their goals.  She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Lynchburg College.
