Laura Coleman

RISE Navigator Program Manager

Laura serves the CIC team as its RISE Navigator Program Manager at the SOVA Innovation Hub, based in South Boston, Virginia.  She brings a comprehensive background in training, leadership development, performance driving, and program management across the non-profit, insurance, sales, and business partner outsourcing industries. A proud graduate of Old Dominion University, Laura earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in marketing from Strayer University.

As a servant leader with a heart for people, deeply committed to personal growth and development, Laura champions a growth mindset, encouraging the view of challenges as lessons, stepping stones to resilience and success. Her passion for mentoring and coaching is rooted in her belief that every setback is an opportunity to learn and grow. A native of southern Virginia, Laura is dedicated to empowering rural entrepreneurs and startups by connecting them with the necessary resources to RISE.
