Workshop Application Submission Confirmation

Interest Meetings: We will reach out to schedule an interest meeting. The meetings are informal and designed to help you get to know us better and ensure our program is a good fit for you. We’ll go over expectations and dates and answer your questions. We’re also eager to learn more about you and your business idea or existing business. The meetings will be conducted virtually via Google Meet or in person from November 3, 2025, until January 9, 2026.

Survey: When we schedule your interest meeting, we’ll send you a link asking you to complete a pre-interest meeting survey. We ask that you complete it before your scheduled interest meeting. We use this data to understand better where you are with your business or business idea and the areas we can most help you.

Notification: We will notify all applicants about admission into our workshop on January 20, 2026. We often receive more applications than spots in our program; if we cannot offer you an opportunity to participate, we will have a waitlist in case any seats open before the workshop begins.

Enrollment and Orientation: If you are offered a spot in our workshop, then you must confirm your participation by returning your signed acceptance letter by January 27, 2026.
- Charlottesville: All participants must attend an orientation session on February 3, 2026, in person, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
- Culpeper-Orange: All participants must attend an orientation session on February 3, 2026, in person, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
- Southern Virginia: All participants must attend an orientation session on February 3, 2026, virtually, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

Workshop Begins: You are expected to attend all 16 weeks as a requirement to complete the program.
- Charlottesville: The in-person workshop will begin on February 10, 2026. Classes are held on Tuesdays, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, and continue weekly until May 26, 2026.
- Culpeper-Orange: The in-person workshop will begin on February 10, 2026. Classes are held on Tuesdays, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, and continue weekly until May 26, 2026.
- Southern Virginia: The virtual workshop will begin on February 10, 2026. Classes are held on Tuesdays, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, and continue weekly until May 26, 2026.
