Culpeper Resource Fair

Our Culpeper Resource Fair provides opportunity for free consultations with business professionals and service providers.

CIC Resource Fairs offer local entrepreneurs and small business owners free, individual consultations in areas such as accounting, social media, marketing, website design, human resources, and more. It’s a unique opportunity to work with industry experts to expand your knowledge and skills!

We want to make sure every entrepreneur who wants a consultation gets one. To help us hold your spot and ensure other community members have access, we ask for a $5 security deposit per session (up to $30 total). Attend and check in, and we’ll refund it within 24-48 hours after the event. If plans change, just cancel at least 48 hours in advance by emailing sarah@cicville.org. Resource Fair Registration Limits, Attendance Policy, and Security Deposits (a/o January 1, 2026).

Each client may register for a maximum of six (6) consultations per Resource Fair.  A $5 security deposit is required per session, equating to no more than $30 per entrepreneur, and will be collected at the time of registration. Clients who participate in registered consultations or provide advance notice of their inability to attend will receive a full refund for the amount paid.  If a client fails to attend a scheduled session or notify the CIC team as described, a refund will not be issued.  All cancellations for the Culpeper Resource Fair should be provided in writing by emailing Sarah Gibbons, sarah@cicville.org, by 10AM on Monday, March 16, 2026.

Resource Fairs offer a limited amount of consultations with knowledgeable professionals who volunteer to share their expertise.  Registering for a session and not attending prevents other entrepreneurs and small business owners from obtaining the support and assistance they need.  Honoring session commitments helps maintain event integrity for all participants and ensures volunteers continue to offer their time to serve our small business community at no charge to CIC or its clients.
